Located between Clear Lake and Saw Lake, the campsite features cozy cabins, well-maintained trails, and open spaces for activities. The tranquil waterfront provides a perfect setting for swimming, canoeing, and stargazing. Modern facilities blend seamlessly with nature, ensuring comfort and safety while maintaining a deep connection to the outdoors.

Immerse in a week of engagement, instruction and FUN with their peers in a specially designed senior camper experience.

Situated between the serene Clear Lake and Saw Lake, Camp Wenonah enjoys a unique and picturesque setting in the heart of Ontario’s lake district. The surrounding area boasts crystal-clear waters, dense forests, and diverse wildlife, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. This location provides an ideal environment for campers to explore nature, develop new skills, and create lasting memories. Its peaceful ambiance ensures a refreshing and rejuvenating summer experience.

The Traditional Summer Camp program offers a dynamic mix of activities tailored to engage every camper. Daily schedules include waterfront activities, sports, arts, and leadership opportunities. Campers can explore their interests and discover new passions in a supportive environment. The program’s philosophy prioritizes personal growth, resilience, and a sense of belonging. With age-appropriate activities and mentorship, the Traditional Summer Camp is the perfect setting for campers to thrive and enjoy the great outdoors.

Camp Wenonah staff are summer camp and outdoor education professionals, teachers, university and college graduates/students (plus some senior high school students in junior staff roles) that share one thing in common: they are committed to providing each Wenonah participant with a positive and lasting Camp experience.

Most staff are also graduates of Wenonah’s leadership programs, and all are certified in lifeguarding and first aid. Staff undergo a rigorous nine-day training before Summer Camp begins.

The campers are at the very centre of everything at Wenonah. Our excellent staff-to-camper ratio (1:5 on average, 1:4 in water-based activities) means that every camper receives consistent individual attention every day. We know this is the key to campers succeeding and having fun in both our instructional programs and daily recreational activities.

Each year, over 95% of staff members return to Wenonah. This means that our staff embrace our Mission Statement, understand our expectations, and believe in the potential for every child to be their best self at Camp.

Meals at Camp Wenonah are wholesome, delicious, and crafted to energize busy campers.
The dining hall serves a variety of balanced options, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins, catering to dietary restrictions like vegetarian, gluten-free, or allergen-specific needs. Mealtimes are also social highlights, fostering a sense of community among campers and staff.
From hearty breakfasts to themed dinner nights, Wenonah’s dining experience nourishes both body and spirit in a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
