
Summer Camp Work in Mexico

If you are looking for a suuny, fun and memorable experience working with children & youth during the summer, this is the right place. By taking part in Camps.Mx you will have the opportunity to travel through magical places, spend time acting as a role model, practice your Spanish language skills, meet people from all over the world, and expand your experiential learning working in a fantastic outdoor setting.

PRACTICE & IMPROVE YOUR SPANISH There is nothing like getting completely immersed into a fun and relaxed atmosphere to practice & improve your spanish fluency and confidence speaking it.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE? No matter if you have little experience so far, as you will receive detailed orientation and you will get prepared with an intense training that will get you tuned up and all set.

HOW DOES IT WORKS? Everything explained in 5 simple steps: 1) Submit your info 2) Get interviewed 3) Get a placement offer 4) Gather all required documents 5) Confirm your attendance.

FOR HOW LONG? Minimum commitment of 5 weeks (training week + 4 placement weeks) and up to 6 Months depending on your camp program.

Types of Camps
Expedition Camps
Traditional camps that focus on canoe tripping and portaging through provincial parks.
Traditional Camps
Forest, Cabins, Lakes, Canoes, Campfires, Songs and loads of fun entretainment.
Speciality Camps
Traditional Camps that have a specilized focus on one main sport or activity, such as: Soccer, Horseback Ridding, Dance, Science, etc.
Language Camps
These are normally Urban camps, meaning they are not based in the wilderness but rather within the city. During the morning they run language courses and the rest of the day they perform summer camp style activities. During the weekends they organize excursions and city tours.
Religious Camps
There are regular traditional summer camps that were founded and are run by diverse religion-oriented organizations. They conduct normal camp activities and normally they incorporate few hours per week dedicated to gospel, bible studies or other activities of the same sort.
Special Needs Camps
These camps attend children & youth with many different kinds of discapacities or in a vulnerable situation. Whether it is foster home kids, children with cancer, autistic kids, hadicapped, etc.

Campsite Locations
There are +120 Organizations certified either by The Mexican Camping Association and the Mexican Adventure Tourism Association. From the deserts of Durango, to the Highlands in Puebla, the low lands of Morelos and the Rain forest in the Huasteca; there are all kinds of camps: traditional, horseback riding, adventure sports, arts, and more.
