How the Cultural Camp Experience deposit comes back

  1. 1You pay the €375 deposit to International Camps Network.
  2. 2You complete your placement satisfactorily, to the end.
  3. 3The camp pays a €375 allowance through International Camps Network, and we pass it on to you in full by bank transfer.
  4. 4If you leave the placement before it is completed, the deposit is forfeited.

Questions about costs

›How much does it cost to work at a summer camp with International Camps Network?

Paid Counselor Placement: €75 application fee (€55 until 21 December) plus a €375 placement fee, and the camp pays you. Cultural Camp Experience: the same €75 application fee plus a €375 deposit that you get back in full when you complete your placement.

›Is the Cultural Camp Experience really free?

Apart from the application fee, yes. You pay a €375 deposit, the camp pays a €375 allowance through International Camps Network, and we transfer it to you in full when you complete your placement.

›When and how do I get my deposit back?

At the end of your placement, once you have completed it satisfactorily, International Camps Network sends it to you by bank transfer.

›What happens if I leave camp early?

If the placement is not completed, the Cultural Camp Experience deposit is forfeited.

›Are the application fee and the placement fee refundable?

No. The application fee (€75, or €55 early bird) is kept for both options, and so is the €375 placement fee of the Paid Counselor Placement. Only the Cultural Camp Experience deposit comes back.

›Who can apply, and when?

Anyone aged 19 or over. Applications are open from 1 November to 30 April; the early bird application fee of €55 runs until 21 December.
