World Bound - Canada

This epic 21-day adventure along the Yukon and Teslin Rivers offers a profound connection to Canada’s wilderness. Starting with tranquil paddles on Teslin River, participants are soon engulfed in the majesty of the Yukon River’s vast landscapes. By day, campers navigate historic waterways, explore Gold Rush ruins, and learn wilderness survival. By night, they bond over campfires and sleep under a sky full of stars. This journey also deepens understanding of Northern Indigenous cultures and environmental challenges.

Program Overview

    Discover Canada’s wild beauty with World Bound Canada, a 24-day expedition from Vancouver’s iconic skyline to the Yukon’s untamed wilderness. Teens will paddle through BC’s stunning Sunshine Coast and explore the Teslin and Yukon Rivers, encountering wildlife, Indigenous culture, and breathtaking landscapes. This camp challenges participants to confront climate change, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships. From orca sightings to exploring ancient Gold Rush ruins, this is an adventure like no other.

World Bound Canada offers an in-depth exploration of Canada’s diverse ecosystems and rich history. Starting in Vancouver, campers will develop canoeing and outdoor survival skills while paddling through the Coast Mountain Range. The journey continues north, where teens will navigate the Teslin and Yukon Rivers, explore historic Gold Rush sites, and engage in climate change education. This transformative camp fosters leadership, environmental awareness, and a deeper understanding of Indigenous cultures.

Routine at Morning

Mornings on the Yukon and Teslin Rivers start early with the group breaking camp after breakfast.
The day begins with smooth paddling as the group glides through calm waters, taking in the dramatic beauty of the surrounding landscape.
These quiet hours are perfect for learning navigation skills or observing the effects of climate change on the riverscape.
Occasional breaks allow campers to explore along the riverbanks, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.
