Husky Camp - Walsrode

Nestled between Hamburg and Hannover in northern Germany, our campsite spans over 150,000 m², offering a vast playground for adventure seekers and creative campers alike. Within walking distance of a traditional North German village, the site includes fields, forest, a private lake with a sandy beach, and 12 diverse activity areas. From kayaking, water trampolining, and raft building to survival training, high ropes climbing, and creative workshops, there’s something exciting for everyone in this unique summer camp setting.

Program Overview

    At Husky Camp, campers experience the joy of working closely with rescued huskies, learning about responsible dog care, body language, and training techniques. Participants engage in exciting activities like husky trekking and team-building with these incredible animals. This unique camp fosters a deep connection between campers and dogs, providing valuable insights into animal care and offering a chance to earn a Husky Camp Handling License—an unforgettable experience for dog lovers.

Husky Camp is perfect for dog lovers eager to learn more about these amazing animals. Campers will engage with rescued huskies, learning about responsible care, body language, and proper behavior around dogs. Activities include Husky trekking with a belly belt and other fun, educational experiences. At the end of the program, participants earn a symbolic Husky Camp Handling License, showcasing their new skills and deep understanding of this fascinating breed.

Start your day with an invigorating Polar Bear Dip, refreshing both body and mind.
After a hearty breakfast, campers clean up to keep the camp tidy and comfortable.
The morning activity period is filled with husky petting, where campers learn about dog care, behavior, and handling. Bonding with the huskies is a special part of the day, alongside outdoor adventures like kayaking or creative workshops, setting the tone for an exciting day with furry friends.
