Nestled between Hamburg and Hannover in northern Germany, our campsite spans over 150,000 m², offering a vast playground for adventure seekers and creative campers alike. Within walking distance of a traditional North German village, the site includes fields, forest, a private lake with a sandy beach, and 12 diverse activity areas. From kayaking, water trampolining, and raft building to survival training, high ropes climbing, and creative workshops, there’s something exciting for everyone in this unique summer camp setting.

Program Overview
- The program offers a hands-on experience for aspiring leaders aged 17-18. Over two weeks, participants gain practical skills and certifications, including lifeguard training and international camp counselor assistant certification. This immersive program prepares future camp counselors by offering real-world leadership and team-building experiences in a dynamic camp environment. Upon completion, participants are ready to take on exciting responsibilities, making it the perfect stepping stone for those eager to start their camp leadership journey.
If you’re 17-19 and aspire to be a camp counselor, this is the perfect program for you. Over two weeks, you'll receive training to become a certified International Camp Counselor Assistant (junior staff member), along with a DLRG lifeguard certification. Upon successful completion, you can apply to work as a Camp Counselor Assistant at our camps. This program is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and leadership skills while preparing for future camp roles.

Kickstart the morning with a Polar Bear Dip, followed by a delicious breakfast to fuel up for the day.
After cleaning up, the morning activity period begins, offering a mix of counselor training, leadership exercises, and outdoor adventures like archery, SUP, or kayaking.
Along the way, environmental awareness activities, and team-building games round out the day’s offerings, preparing future camp counselors for an exciting and fulfilling camp experience.
