As a Language Coach at the Adventure Camp, your role will be to teach English in a relaxed, dynamic, and immersive environment.
The morning and afternoon sessions will focus on language acquisition through fun activities like games, storytelling, and outdoor exercises that integrate English learning with adventure-based tasks. You’ll lead these lessons in a non-formal and engaging manner, ensuring that learning is enjoyable and accessible for all levels of English proficiency.
In addition to your teaching role, you’ll act as a Camp Counselor outside of class time, guiding campers during outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, and team-building games. You’ll help create an exciting and safe camp environment, fostering friendships, teamwork, and personal growth in an international, outdoor setting.
You will have the chance to connect with campers from all over the world, making this a truly multicultural experience.

Placement profile:
As a Language Coach at our Adventure Camp in Walsrode, Germany, you’ll have the unique opportunity to combine language coaching with an exciting camp counselor role.
The morning and afternoon sessions will focus on relaxed, dynamic, and fun language lessons, designed to improve campers’ English through interactive activities and games.
The rest of your day will be spent as a camp counselor, guiding outdoor adventures, facilitating team-building exercises, and creating memorable experiences for campers in a multicultural and supportive environment.

Requirements:
- Age: 19+ by the program start date.
- Language Skills: Native or fluent English speaker; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience: Previous teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience is beneficial but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Commitment: Available for 4 to 12 weeks from mid-June through late August.
- Personality: Enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about working with children and teenagers in an outdoor setting.
- Training: Must complete Camp Counselor training, including language coaching modules and outdoor education basics.
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable with outdoor activities and engaging in active camp life.
