As a Language Coach at our English Language Camp in Fleetwood, you will teach English in the mornings, providing structured lessons focusing on grammar, writing, vocabulary, and conversation skills. These lessons will be formal and intensive, helping campers to develop their English skills in a supportive classroom setting. In the afternoons, you’ll lead group dynamics sessions, where you’ll encourage learners to practice their language skills through fun, interactive activities like games, role-playing, and problem-solving tasks.
Outside of teaching, you will also assume the role of Camp Counselor. This will involve guiding outdoor activities, leading team-building exercises, helping campers practice their English during free time, and being a mentor and role model. You will foster a fun, inclusive, and positive atmosphere, ensuring that campers have a memorable experience while enhancing their language skills in a natural, everyday setting.
This role offers the opportunity to gain professional teaching experience, develop strong leadership skills, and obtain a 120-hour TEFL certification, all while enjoying a summer in the picturesque Fleetwood area of the UK.
About Our Staff:
For several years we have cooperated with the organization Camp Europe e.V., which specializes in the search, selection and training of German and international Teamers and language coaches.
General Aspects:
- - Duration: 4 to 12 weeks, from late June through August.
- Training: Comprehensive Camp Counselor training and a 120-hour TEFL certificate (provided free of charge).
