Traditional Summer Camp

Galiano Island

B. Columbia

Canada

At BC Explorer, youth will paddle board the shorelines of Galiano Island and bike along its quite roads. They will hike alpine mountains in the Sunshine Coast, and paddle the incredible Sechelt Inlet by canoe. Youth will spend a few days in Victoria while staying at the University of Victoria, will enjoy our camping facilities at Fireside Homeplace (Galiano Island) and sleep under the stars on their outdoor leadership ocean paddle expedition. We are all about eating delicious and fresh foods, breaking the paradigms of traditional learning and making it the best summer for teens. We are not a just a summer camp; we deliver an awesome course full of life lessons, daily adventures, and incredible experiences teens will remember for the rest of their lives.

The west coast port of British Columbia, and one of Canada’s most gorgeous cities. A very ethnically diverse city. A vibrant population known for its great natural attractions suchs as the world acclaimed Stanley Park. Also a favourite setting for movie filming, with those snow peaked mountains. Vancouver is like a gigant playground with so many outdoor activities to offer. Vancouver is surrounded by water from three sides and the weather is milder than other regions of Canada, due to the Pacific Ocean currents that keep it mild and damp.
