Fireside Kids Camp
Traditional Summer Camp
Galiano Island
B. Columbia
Canada
At Camp Fireside, we specialize in children's gourmet cooking, wilderness camping, environmental education, outdoor adventure sports and connecting the best of a summer camp experience with childhood.
Each week is theme-based to ensure our BC summer camp experiences offer variety and meet the needs of different campers. Every week is designed to be interesting, inspiring and dynamic so your kids can enjoy multiple weeks with us. We are located on Galiano Island (partnered with Millard Learning Centre) where campers can enjoy and explore a beautiful 188 acre property comprised of a food forest, foraging garden, eco-learning centre, endless shoreline trails, an abundance of forested areas and access to a secluded waterfront cove for swimming, paddle boarding, and tide pooling.
Every week will include some shared core elements such as gourmet cooking, forest-ology, and paddle boarding, while bringing in a unique educational component such as language learning, outdoor adventure skills, field trips, and climate change education.

The west coast port of British Columbia, and one of Canada’s most gorgeous cities. A very ethnically diverse city. A vibrant population known for its great natural attractions suchs as the world acclaimed Stanley Park. Also a favourite setting for movie filming, with those snow peaked mountains. Vancouver is like a gigant playground with so many outdoor activities to offer. Vancouver is surrounded by water from three sides and the weather is milder than other regions of Canada, due to the Pacific Ocean currents that keep it mild and damp.
